What does it mean?

Firstly, we sincerely appreciate your support and trust in Sim4crew through these years. 

After careful consideration, we have made a decision to end support for this product. This means that by Sep 30, 2024, we will no longer provide sales, updates, or support for it. 

We understand that this may come as a surprise, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. As technology evolves, we continually evaluate our product offerings to ensure that we can focus on delivering the best possible solutions for our users.

Will you offer something else as an alternative?

We understand that stopping a service can be challenging and an inconvenience for you. We started this journey to keep you connected, and we wanted you to stay connected with 25% off your first eSIM from Airalo with code SIM4CREW. This offer is valid until September 30, 2024 

Can I still use my Sim4crew sim card before Sep? Can I keep the same phone number after September?

You can still use your current cards with valid top-up packages and phone numbers until Sep 30, 2024.  

Afterward, we can no longer guarantee both SIM cards and phone numbers will work. The phone number can't be transferred as well. 

Can I still use this number for my 3rd party apps like WhatsApp?

We recommend changing the phone numbers registered to your 3rd party Apps, like WhatsApp, before the said date. We will not be able to guarantee that the SIM cards or the phone number will still work after September 30, 2024.

Please refer to the steps provided by the 3rd party software/app to help guide you on changing the phone numbers on their apps. 

What happens to my remaining Crewmoney?

Crewmoney will not be carried over or converted into any credit or payment system. We strongly recommend using it before Sept 30, 2024

What kind of a device do I need to be able to use Sim4crew?

Sim4crew Classic and Sim4crew Data Hungry are physical SIM cards and can be used in all kinds of mobile phones, tablets, USB modems and hotspots.

What sizes does Sim4crew SIM card have?

Sim4crew physical SIM cards come in 3 sizes: Regular, Micro and Nano.

How to use

Do I need to register to activate my Sim4crew?

No. Your Sim4crew is already pre-registered which means you can start making calls or surfing the internet right away.

Do Sim4crew SIM cards expire?

Sim4crew SIM cards will expire within 18 months if no data bundles or top-up packages are added.

Does Sim4crew work in the middle of the sea?

Sim4crew SIMs need to receive a signal from a partner telecom operator to work. If you are close to land, you might still be able to connect. If you are very far from land, such as the middle of the ocean, Sim4crew will not work.

How do I apply top up / data-only package vouchers?

You can apply your voucher on www.sim4crew.com via Apply Top up / Data Voucher section or you can enter the voucher on your phone's dial pad ending with the pound key (#) and press dial. The top up or the data-only package will be active in a few seconds.

What kind of top ups are available?

Sim4crew Classic can be topped up with regular pay-as-you-go credits for voice, SMS & data or data-only packages. Sim4crew Data Hungry can be topped up with data packages only.

Do my top ups expire?

Data packages validity will vary according to the chosen bundle and can last for the validity period or until the data is used up. Please note that Sim4crew is winding down by September 30, 2024. We suggest using any top-ups bought before the said date as we can no longer guarantee the service will work afterwards.

Can I add multiple data packages at the same time?

Only one data package can be active and available at any given time. Adding a new data package will terminate the previous data package on your SIM.

Pre-loaded data packages terminated due to data package override are not refundable.


Can I have an active data package and active pay-as-you-go credits at the same time?

Yes. A user can have a data package and pay-as-you-go credits at the same time. If you are in a package zone, your data package will be deducted for your internet usage. If you are in a non-package zone, your pay-as-you-go credits will be deducted for internet usage.

What are the rates for using Sim4crew and which networks should I connect for correct use?

How do I buy Sim4crew SIM cards and top ups?

Sim4crew SIM cards can be bought from our agent network as well as top ups. You can also top up directly online on our website via credit card, PayPal, Dragonpay.
HOWEVER, please note that Sim4crew is winding down by September 30, 2024. We suggest using any SIM cards or top-ups bought before the said date as we can no longer guarantee the service will work afterwards.

I do not have a suitable way to top up online and there are no Sim4crew agents in my current port. How can I buy?

Please note that Sim4crew is winding down by September 30, 2024. This means that by the said date, we will no longer provide sales, updates, or support for the service. We suggest using any top-ups bought before the said date as we can no longer guarantee the service will work afterwards. If you are one of our registered users (active Sim card with valid top-up), please check your email with subject: "Sim4crew is Winding Down" to know more about this transition.

We are in maritime business and we would like to distribute Sim4crew products in our area. Can we be partners?

Does Sim4crew SIM card connect to networks automatically?

Yes. Sim4crew is programmed to find the right network and connect automatically.

Sim4crew cannot connect to some networks in some countries. Why?

There may be 2 possible issues: either we have blocked that network due to its high cost in order to protect you from losing money, or you may be in a remote place where the signal cannot reach your SIM card.

Sim4crew can not connect to a network even when it is not on your blocked list. Why?

If your Sim4crew does not automatically connect to a network, try to connect it manually.


On iPhone:
Step 1. Go to Settings
Step 2. Select Carrier
Step 3. Switch Automatic OFF
Step 4. Once the network list is loaded select one of our supported networks

On all other phones:
Step 1. Go to Phone Settings
Step 2. Go to Mobile Networks or More Settings
Step 3. Find Network Operators
Step 4. Search for networks
Step 5. Once the network list is loaded select one of our supported networks


How do I make a call with my Sim4crew Classic?

In order to make a call with your Sim4crew classic SIM, please use one of the international formats as follows: + (COUNTRYCODE)PHONE NUMBER or *(COUNTRYCODE)PHONE NUMBER#

The available call method is the callback call.

Here's how it works:

1. The user dials to the destination.

2. The system dials back to the user.

3. When the user picks up the system dials to their desired destination.

4. Once the destination starts ringing, both users will be connected.



How do I send an SMS?

You simply send an SMS to the number with its country code.

How do I connect to the internet?

Once you insert your Sim4crew, it should automatically connect to the internet. If it doesn’t connect automatically, you will need to change your APN name in the phone settings. Your APN name must always be: globaldata

When someone calls me on my Sim4crew Classic, how will they be charged?

They will be charged by their local operator according to the cost of calling to the United Kingdom because your Sim4crew number will be a UK number starting with +44.

Can I use my favorite applications with Sim4crew’s internet?

Of course. You can use Facebook, Whatsapp, WeChat, YouTube, Skype, etc. You can basically use all your internet applications without any limitations.

What’s Crewmoney? How do I use my Crewmoney voucher?

Crewmoney is our wallet system. You earn Crewmoney for every purchase you make via credit card, Paypal and Dragonpay. Also you can buy Crewmoney vouchers from our partners worldwide. If you have a Crewmoney voucher, you can apply this voucher to your Sim4crew account and use it to purchase top ups and data packages.
Sim4crew is winding down. Your Crewmoney will not be carried over or converted into any credit or payment system. We strongly recommend using it before Sept 30, 2024

Do I need to sign up and create an account to use Sim4crew and top up?

You can use Sim4crew and top up your SIM without creating an account but we strongly suggest signing up so you can see all your SIMs in one place, track your history and also earn free Crewmoney cashback on your top up purchases.

Terms & Conditions

Disputed Orders

Sim4crew reserves the right to suspend the customer's account and disable the SIM if the user raises a dispute for a used data bundle or top-up credit. The SIM disabling is irreversible and will result in the termination of all the services and credits for the SIM number. 

SIM Card Loss

In case of SIM card loss, the Sim4crew's Support Team can disable the customer's SIM upon request to protect the customer's information. However, the remaining credits, bundles, and SIM number or ICCID are not transferrable to another SIM.

Promotional Vouchers

  • Crewmoney Promotional vouchers must be redeemed by the customer who must have a Sim4crew account. Once logged in, the customer can redeem the voucher by going to "Buy & Manage" and "Apply Crewmoney Voucher". Once redeemed, the customer must toggle "Use Crewmoney" at the checkout to apply the discount.
  • Crewmoney Promotional Vouchers are specific to the person that holds them. Therefore, they cannot be transferred or sold. The resale or any other transfer of promotional Crewmoney Vouchers to third parties is prohibited.
  • Sim4crew reserves the right to suspend the customer's account and cancel the Crewmoney Voucher in the event of an infringement of any of the conditions listed above.
